Privacy

Privacy by design.

Any File Type is designed to perform supported file operations in your browser whenever the browser and format allow it. This reduces the need to send files to a conversion server.

File processing

For browser-supported tools, the file you choose is processed by code running on your device. Advanced media or document features may rely on third-party JavaScript or WebAssembly libraries loaded by the page. Browser capabilities and file types determine what can be processed locally.

Hosting and basic request data

The website is delivered through its hosting provider, which may process standard connection information such as IP address, request time, user agent and requested URL for security, reliability and delivery purposes.

Third-party libraries

Some tools load software libraries from content-delivery networks. Those providers may receive normal web request information when your browser requests the library files. Your selected file is not intentionally sent to those library providers by the site’s conversion interface.

Questions

This page describes the current browser-first design of the site. It should be updated if server-side uploads, accounts, analytics, advertising or additional data collection are added later.
