Privacy tools
Inspect what a file exposes, remove standard metadata before sharing, and verify file integrity. These tools are designed around practical privacy jobs rather than vague βprivacyβ labels.
EXIF

β
PDFPDF metadata inspectorReview standard document metadata and clear supported fields.
β
EDITPhoto EditorEdit, crop and add text locally in your browser before sharing a new copy.
β
SHAFile checksumCreate a SHA fingerprint to verify that a file has not changed.
β
LOCALHow local processing worksUnderstand which file jobs run in your browser and what that means for privacy.
β
Check the data around the file, not just what you can see.
Photos can contain camera and location metadata. PDFs can contain author, title, creator and producer fields. A checksum can help confirm that a file is identical to the copy you expected. Any File Type does not claim to remove every possible proprietary or embedded metadata stream; each tool explains exactly what it can inspect or clean.
